Music & Youth Initiative is proud to support innovative after-school contemporary music programs (Hip Hop, R&B, Pop) in nonprofit organizations that have a proven track record of youth development focused predominantly on underserved middle and high school-aged youth. (7th grade and up)

The Catalyst Innovation Grant provides funding to support innovative programs that can help other music programs be more effective. We focus on contemporary music (Hip Hop, R&B, Pop) Some examples of recent grants include introducing programming using new gear or software, creating a new incentive program, or integrating STEM into music programming Grants ranging from $2,500 – $10,000 will be considered based on the strength of your application, follow-up discussions, and possible visits with your organization.

Our organization was established in 2004 with the goal of providing financial donations, equipment grants, and programmatic support to organizations that are committed to a sustainable music program for their organization.
